Dubai hosts major energy and forex industry events

The 50th edition of Middle East Energy concluded at the Dubai World Trade Centre, attracting over 39,000 energy professionals from more than 150 countries. The event, held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and supported by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, covered various sectors including generation, transmission, distribution, storage, and efficiency.

Attendees included 64% from the GCC region, while over one-third of the audience originated from outside the Middle East. The exhibition served as a platform for international exhibitors from Asia, Africa, and Europe to showcase projects and infrastructure developments.

Separately, the Forex Expo Dubai is scheduled for September 22-23 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event expects over 30,000 participants, including traders and fintech enthusiasts from more than 60 countries.
