Dubai hosts regional business and innovation awards

The 2026 Inc. Arabia Leaders of Tomorrow Awards were held at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, honoring various individuals and organizations for driving innovation and transformation in the Middle East. Award recipients spanned multiple sectors, including the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure for sustainability, Dubai Police HQ's Esaad for community impact, and Network International for fintech. Notable individual honorees included Amit Mundada, CEO of re. life, and David Ribott, CEO of Ribott Partners.

Separately, the inaugural Dubai-it Award has announced its nomination period, running from August 10 to September 10, 2026. Launched under the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the award seeks to recognize individuals, projects, and institutions that embody Dubai's development model of ambition, rapid execution, and measurable impact. The award features three primary categories: Individuals, Projects, and Institutions and Companies.
