Dubai Humanitarian launches air bridge for Gaza medical aid

Dubai Humanitarian has launched a new air bridge to deliver critical medical and nutritional aid to Gaza in support of the World Health Organization (WHO). The operation utilizes supplies pre-positioned at the WHO Global Logistics Centre hosted by Dubai Humanitarian.

Four initial flights have already been completed using the Dubai Air Wing. The first flight transported 11 metric tonnes of essential medicines to Al Arish International Airport in Egypt, from where supplies are moved into Gaza. Subsequent flights have delivered additional medicines, tents, and fortified biscuits.

This initiative is part of a larger operation intended to facilitate the dispatch of approximately 150 metric tonnes of WHO medical and health supplies to Gaza over the coming weeks through a continuous logistics pipeline.
