European airlines to increase weekly flights to Dubai
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is set to see a significant increase in connectivity with Europe as several airlines reinstate routes for the upcoming winter season. Between October and December, up to 36 additional weekly flights are expected to return, linking Dubai with major hubs in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
Lufthansa will restart services to Munich and Frankfurt on October 25, followed by Swiss International Air Lines connecting to Zurich on October 27. In November, Eurowings will introduce 14 weekly flights serving Berlin, Stuttgart, and Cologne-Bonn. Austrian Airlines is scheduled to resume flights to Vienna on December 12.
Additionally, British Airways has confirmed the resumption of a daily service from London Heathrow starting November 3, with plans to increase frequency to twice daily next year. These expanded services aim to accommodate the high demand from business travelers and tourists during Dubai’s peak winter travel period.
