Dubai landmarks undergo major renovations for 2027 reopening

Several iconic landmarks in Dubai are undergoing extensive renovations and are scheduled to reopen in 2027. These upgrades include the Museum of the Future, which will introduce new exhibitions and immersive interactive spaces in the first quarter of 2027.

The Burj Al Arab, the city's famous sail-shaped hotel, is undergoing its first major restoration since its opening in 1999, with a planned reopening in October 2027. Additionally, the Armani Hotel Dubai, located within the Burj Khalifa, is expected to return in March 2027 following a refurbishment of its rooms, restaurants, and leisure facilities.

Other projects include the transformation of Lamcy Plaza, which is set to reopen as The Plaza in the first half of 2027.
