Dubai Launches Regulated ‘Al Freej Gardener’ Digital Platform via Careem

Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs have signed a memorandum of cooperation with ride‑hailing firm Careem to launch the ‘Al Freej Gardener’ initiative. The digital platform will list qualified, licensed gardening and landscaping providers, allowing residents to request services such as home gardening, maintenance, irrigation installation and agricultural consultancy through the Careem app.

The service is scheduled to become available in September and will be overseen by Dubai Police for security and safety compliance, while the GDRFA will manage visa and permit requirements for service professionals. The collaboration aims to improve service quality, ensure legal compliance and enhance the appearance and sustainability of Dubai’s residential green spaces.
