Dubai Municipality launches integrated animal welfare shelter and digital adoption platform

Dubai Municipality opened a new integrated animal‑welfare shelter at the Birds and Pets Market in the Warsan district of Dubai. The facility provides veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, grooming, a surgical theatre and dedicated adoption spaces, aiming to improve the care of stray and abandoned pets and encourage responsible ownership.

At the same time the municipality introduced an online adoption platform that lets residents browse available animals, view health and behavioural information and arrange adoptions. Partnerships were signed with Vets for Pets Veterinary Clinic and Phoenix Veterinary Clinic to support the shelter’s services and raise community awareness of humane pet management.
