Dubai Police Achieves 99.8% Emergency Call Response Rate, Completes 4,870 Rescue Missions in 2026

Dubai Police reported that its Command‑and‑Control Centre answered emergency calls within 10 seconds in 99.8% of cases during the second quarter of 2026, surpassing the 97% target. The centre handled more than 1.3 million calls in that period, and patrol coverage across police‑station jurisdictions reached 98.8%, also above the goal.

In the first half of 2026 the General Department of Transport and Rescue carried out 4,870 missions, including 385 rescue operations, 1,598 recovery and towing jobs, 4 vehicle‑recovery incidents, 575 lock‑opening tasks, 72 training exercises, 416 event‑security supports and numerous other tasks. Brigadier Khalid Ibrahim credited continued investment in trained personnel, advanced technology and AI‑driven decision‑making for the force’s operational readiness. Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander‑in‑Chief of Dubai Police, endorsed the achievements as part of Dubai’s aim to remain one of the world’s safest cities.
