Dubai Police arrest 22-member organized begging gang

Dubai Police have arrested 22 members of an organized begging gang following a tip-off submitted through the ‘Police Eye’ service on the official mobile app.

Investigations revealed the group operated across several major locations, including Al Khor Street, Ras Al Khor, the Bu Kadra Bridge area, and the Dubai-Al Ain Road bridge. The gang members targeted motorists by appealing to their sympathy, claiming they were stranded and required money to cover travel expenses.

After conducting surveillance and information-gathering, authorities implemented a security plan that led to the apprehension of all 22 suspects. Legal action is currently being taken against the group.
