Dubai Police provides employment to family of deceased officer

Dubai Police has offered employment to the husband and sister of Marwa Ahmed Al Amin Bakhit, who passed away on September 23, 2026, following the birth of twin sons. The initiative aims to provide financial stability for the family after the loss of their primary breadwinner.

The family has maintained a multi-generational connection with the force dating back to 1979, when Marwa’s father, Sergeant Ahmed Al Amin Bakhit, joined the General Department of Criminal Investigation. Following his death in 1992, the police force supported his widow, Sumaya Ahmed Saeed Mohammed, by providing employment and arranging medical treatment for her cancer until her passing in 2016.
