Dubai population reaches 4.58 million with 80% working-age residents

According to the latest statistics from the Dubai Health Authority, Dubai’s total population reached 4,580,300 by the end of 2025, marking a 31.68% increase from 3,478,300 in 2021.

A significant majority of the population, approximately 80.34%, falls within the working-age bracket of 20 to 59 years. This group totaled 3,679,771 people, representing a 33.21% growth over the four-year period. Within this demographic, males accounted for 72.38% (2,663,498) and females for 27.62% (1,016,273).

The 30-to-39 age group remains the largest single segment, comprising 30.52% of the total population with 1,397,724 residents. The leadership and planning segment, aged 40 to 59, reached 1,217,738 people, or 26.59% of the population. Overall, the emirate's population distribution remains largely stable, with males making up 68.52% and females 31.48% of the total residents.
