Dubai real estate market adds 186 new developers in 2026

Dubai's real estate sector has seen significant expansion in 2026, with 186 new property development companies entering the market between the start of the year and mid-August. According to data from the Dubai Land Department, this represents an average influx of approximately 25 new developers per month.

The majority of these new entrants, totaling 180 companies, obtained their licenses through the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. Other licensing bodies also contributed to the growth: Trakhees issued three licenses, the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development issued two, and Expo City Dubai granted one.

This growing developer base is expected to increase market competition and provide a wider variety of projects for investors and buyers, reinforcing Dubai's status as a major international hub for real estate and capital.
