Dubai RTA completes Al Mizhar 4 traffic expansion project

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed a traffic expansion project in Al Mizhar 4. The project involved adding an additional lane to a 1km stretch from Tunis Street towards Amman Street, increasing capacity by 50% and reducing journey times by 25%.

The improvements are intended to benefit motorists and residents in Al Mizhar, Muhaisnah, and surrounding areas by enhancing accessibility to residential communities. Additionally, the RTA is studying a ‘Rat Running’ project to prevent vehicles from using internal residential streets as shortcuts, aiming to improve safety and ease congestion in target areas.
