Dubai Team UFORCE Places Third at Global FIRST Tech Challenge in US
Dubai‑based Team UFORCE, representing Unique World Robotics, achieved a podium finish at the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Michiana Premier Event in South Bend, Indiana, held June 18‑21, 2026. The team placed third in the competition’s highest honour, the Inspire Award, out of 96 international robotics teams.
Following the event, Team UFORCE also competed in the invitation‑only Multinational Tech Invitational (MTI) at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory’s Kossiakoff Center in Laurel, Maryland, from June 26‑28, 2026, joining 43 other top FTC teams. Founder Bansan Thomas George said, “This achievement reflects the dedication, innovation and perseverance of our students, mentors and the wider UWR community.” The results highlight the United Arab Emirates’ growing presence on the global STEM stage.
