Dubai to host FIBA 3x3 Masters tournament in November 2026

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has announced that Dubai will host a FIBA 3x3 Masters tournament on November 7 and 8, 2026. The event is part of the 2026 FIBA 3x3 World Tour, featuring elite global teams, Olympic players, and top-ranked athletes competing for ranking points and prize money.

This hosting arrangement is part of a three-year partnership between Dubai and FIBA, which ensures that the Masters tournament will continue to be held in the emirate through 2028. Alex Sanchez, General Manager of FIBA 3x3, noted Dubai's status as a premier global destination for tourism and major sporting events.

Issa Sharif, Events Director at the Dubai Sports Council, stated that attracting the World Tour aligns with the Dubai Strategic Plan for the Sports Sector 2033, aiming to further develop basketball within the emirate.
