Dubravka Marković denied entry to Radio Beograd building

Retired Radio-televizija Srbije and Radio Beograd presenter Dubravka Marković was denied entry to the Radio Beograd building during a commemoration for colleague Velibor Žujović. Marković reported to the Journalists' Association of Serbia (UNS) that security personnel prevented her from entering and that an officer shouted at her and attempted to forcibly remove her.

Marković claims that Radio Beograd Director Zorana Bojičić issued an oral directive two years ago banning her from the premises. She stated that even after calling the police, officers informed her that a directive exists prohibiting her entry, even for public events. Marković announced her intention to file a private criminal lawsuit against Bojičić and the security staff for abuse of official position and excessive use of force. She further noted that several other retired colleagues are facing similar entry restrictions.
