Dubrovnik Airport surpasses three million passengers
Ruđer Bošković Airport in Dubrovnik has surpassed the three million passenger mark for the year, reaching this milestone on October 15. This achievement occurred 15 days earlier than in 2025, when the airport first reached the same threshold.
The year 2026 has seen significant growth in passenger numbers and aviation operations, beginning with the airport's richest winter flight schedule to date. The summer flight schedule expanded the network to over 70 destinations, including six new locations, while daily connections to New York were maintained.
Viktor Šober, CEO of the airport, stated that the focus remains on improving services to enhance the passenger experience. The airport is also working to increase connectivity outside the peak tourist season by developing routes during the pre-season, shoulder season, and winter months. For the 2026/2027 winter season, Ryanair will operate routes to London, Krakow, and Dublin, while Croatia Airlines will continue service to Frankfurt and Rome, adding a new line to Belgrade.
