Dubrovnik Art Gallery opens Croatian Modern Art exhibition

On 29 May 2026 the Art Gallery of Dubrovnik opened a new exhibition titled “Croatian Modern Art – from the collection of the Dubrovnik Art Gallery”. The display occupies the first and third floors and showcases 20th‑century painting and sculpture.

The sculpture hall features leading early‑century sculptors such as Ivan Meštrović, Robert Frangeš Mihanović, Frano Kršinić and Ivan Lozica, while the painting floor presents works by Vlaho Bukovac, Mata Celestin Medović and later artists including Emanuel Vidović, Miroslav Kraljević and others, highlighting both figurative and abstract trends. Curators Petra Golušić and Rozana Vojvoda oversee the show. The sculpture section remains open until 10 June 2026 and the painting section until 30 September 2026.
