Dubrovnik library hosts Nikola Tesla educational program

As part of the Month of Croatian Books, the Lapad branch of the Dubrovnik Libraries hosted an event dedicated to the life and work of Nikola Tesla. The program featured Boris Šušnjar, author of ‘Neshvaćeni Tesla – vodič za razumijevanje genija’ (The Misunderstood Tesla – A Guide to Understanding the Genius).

Šušnjar, an educator focused on popularizing Tesla’s scientific legacy, conducted interactive workshops such as ‘Tesla’s Laboratory for Little Geniuses’ for children aged six to ten. The sessions utilized Tesla coils, plasma balls, and other devices to demonstrate electrical phenomena through storytelling and hands-on experiments.

Since 2021, Šušnjar has led the ‘Walk with Nikola Tesla’ project to promote scientific literacy among children. The initiative has received recommendations from the Ministry of Science and Education and the Agency for Education and Training, with participation from over 50 schools and kindergartens.
