SDP Dubrovnik-Neretva County elects new leadership

The SDP of Dubrovnik-Neretva County has elected a new leadership during an election convention held in Ston. Katarina Gugić, the current head of the Vela Luka Municipality, has been chosen as the new president.

Gugić succeeds Miša Krstičević. Her deputies will be Marija Šegedin, a council member in Korčula, and Ivan Marević, the mayor of Ploče. Kristina Ćurčija was elected as the secretary of the county organization.

Gugić stated that her leadership will focus on practical issues facing citizens, including the rising cost of living, healthcare accessibility, transport connectivity, waste management, agriculture, and climate change adaptation.
