Dubrovnik Summer Games showcase Linđo folk ensemble and Carmina Burana concert

The 77th Dubrovnik Summer Games featured a performance by the Folklorni ansambl Linđo on the evening of 11 July in front of the Church of St. Vlaho. The ensemble presented four traditional Croatian songs and dances, continuing its long‑standing role in the festival and promoting Croatia’s intangible cultural heritage.

The musical program was opened by the Munich Radio Orchestra, conducted by Ivan Repušić, with a rendition of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. The concert involved the Academic Choir Ivan Goran Kovačić, the Children’s Choir of the Luka Sorkočević Art School, and soloists Franko Klisović, Ljubomir Puškarić and Marija Kuhar Šoša. It was backed by the Croatian Consulate in Munich, the Croatian Tourist Board and Bavarian Radio‑TV, and was broadcast on HRT’s third program.
