Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra performs sold-out concert at Knežev dvor

The Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra (DSO) performed a sold-out concert at the Knežev dvor atrium under the direction of Venezuelan conductor Christian Vasquez. The program featured a blend of classical and contemporary works, beginning with Brahms’ Double Concerto for Violin and Cello, performed by violinists Dunja Bontek and Mirabai Weismehl Rosenfeld, and cellist Branimir Pusticki.

The second half of the performance focused on Arvo Pärt’s ‘Tabula rasa’, featuring violinists Mirabai Weismehl Rosenfeld and Eva Šulić Brajčić, alongside a prepared piano performance by pianist Martina Filjak.

The orchestra, which will celebrate its centenary in 2025, continues its tradition of performing in historic Dubrovnik locations. The ensemble was previously recognized with the Orlando Grand Prix in 2020.
