Dubrovnik tourism reaches record 4 million overnight stays in 2026

Dubrovnik has surpassed a significant milestone in its tourism sector, recording over 4 million registered overnight stays and more than 1.25 million arrivals between January 1 and October 16, 2026.

According to preliminary data from Croatia’s eVisitor registration system, these figures represent a modest increase compared to the same period in 2025, with arrivals up approximately 1.6% and overnight stays rising by about 1.1%. The United Kingdom and the United States remain the primary drivers of international demand.

The city is seeing success in its efforts to extend the tourism season beyond the traditional summer months, with strong visitor activity noted into October. The average length of stay for visitors is currently 3.2 nights.
