Dubrovnik's Tino Pattiera Opera Festival Ends with Verdi Concert

The International Festival of Opera Arias "Tino Pattiera" concluded with the final concert "Verdi za sva vremena" at Knežev dvor in Dubrovnik. Maestro Noorman Widjaja conducted the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, featuring soloists Nikolina Pinko, Petra Radulović, Joanna Dobrakowska, Bože Jurić‑Pešić, Josip Švagelj, Jurica Jurasić Kapun, Luciano Batinić and Božo Župić. The program included arias from Verdi’s Rigoletto, La Traviata, Don Carlos, Aida and other works, marking the festival’s tribute to founder Vido Peručić and its support from the City of Dubrovnik, the tourist board, Dubrovnik Airport and other partners.

On 3 July 2026, the mixed choir Cantus PoPuli held its "Odjeci glazbe" concert at the Casoni Vecchi fortress in Pula. The event, organized with the backing of the Pula tourist board, the City of Pula and the fortress preservation association, celebrated Saint Thomas day. The choir performed a diverse repertoire—including a cappella arrangements of songs by KUD Idijota, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bijelo Dugme, Rammstein and Bon Jovi—spanning pop, folk, opera and sacred music, and highlighted recent successes such as gold medals at an international choral competition in Bratislava.
