Dubuque inflatable pumpkin causes traffic disruption

A large inflatable pumpkin escaped its moorings and tumbled through the streets of downtown Dubuque, Iowa, on a Tuesday afternoon. The object struck parked vehicles and forced an SUV driver to swerve to avoid a collision on Main Street.

Dubuque Police Lieutenant Luke Bock noted that the incident was captured on traffic cameras. While no injuries or major accidents were reported, authorities advised residents to strictly follow manufacturer instructions to properly secure large seasonal decorations to prevent roadway obstructions or potential crashes.
