Ducati and ZXMoto announce new motorcycle models

Ducati has launched the fifth generation of its Monster V2 motorcycle, featuring a redesigned 890 cc V2 engine. This new powerplant, derived from the Panigale V2, is 5.9 kg lighter than its predecessor and replaces the traditional desmodromic valve system with variable intake timing (IVT). The engine produces 109.48 HP and 91.1 Nm of torque, with 80% of that power available between 4,000 and 10,000 rpm. The model, which received the Red Dot Product Design Award 2026, is available in standard and Plus variants.

In the adventure segment, ZXMoto has officially presented the 820X. This model features an 819 cc three-cylinder engine producing 114 CV and an estimated torque exceeding 85 Nm. The motorcycle has a reported top speed of 220 km/h. The final production version includes a redesigned front end with a classic dual-projector headlight layout, departing from the stacked design seen in earlier concepts.
