Ducati celebrates centenary with exhibitions in Bologna
Ducati is celebrating its centenary with a month-long series of exhibitions and events across Bologna, running from September 4 to October 5. The initiative aims to showcase the motorcycle manufacturer’s history, design, technology, and sporting heritage through various iconic city locations.
Five key venues are hosting specialized displays: Salaborsa features the Superleggera V4 Centenario and photographic works; Palazzo Pepoli focuses on historical memory; Galleria Cavour 1959 highlights design; Palazzo Boncompagni displays the ‘100 Collection’ art; and the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium will host racing-themed exhibits during football matches. The celebrations will conclude at the Ducati Museum in Borgo Panigale.
CEO Claudio Domenicali emphasized the brand’s deep roots in Bologna and its ability to establish global prestige from its local origins. Bologna Mayor Matteo Lepore noted the unique and inseparable link between the city and the industrial brand.
