Duchess Sophie attends European Athletics Championships in Birmingham

Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward attended the 2026 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, England, on August 13. Facing high temperatures, the Duchess wore a blue, white, and green paisley midi shirt dress from the British ethical label Lexy London, paired with Penelope Chilvers espadrille wedges.

She also carried a Strathberry raffia Mosaic Nano bag with brown leather trim. The appearance coincided with an announcement from Buckingham Palace that their son, James, the Earl of Wessex, will continue his studies at the Royal Agricultural University.
