DuckTales World Showcase Adventure to return to EPCOT

The DuckTales World Showcase Adventure at EPCOT is set to return in a modified format following the official shutdown of the Play Disney Parks app at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

The app's retirement, which occurred on September 16, 2026, has eliminated several interactive experiences, including Star Wars: Datapad. While the DuckTales scavenger hunt was recently closed for refurbishment, reports indicate it will be reinstated, though the specific mechanics of how it will function without the mobile app remain unclear.

It is speculated that the experience may transition to MagicBand+ accessibility, similar to how Batuu Bounty Hunters missions are currently handled. Disney has not yet released specific details regarding the updated format.
