Protein restriction study challenges US dietary guidelines, cites health benefits

A review of more than 350 studies published in the Cell Press journal Cell Press Blue concludes that lowering protein intake can improve metabolic health, reduce body fat and fasting blood glucose, and in some cases extend lifespan.
