Duel and Daiwa announce new specialized fishing lures

Major fishing tackle manufacturers Duel and Daiwa have announced new lure releases targeting saltwater species.

Duel has introduced the ‘Sonic Boom SB Wake 165F’, a large wake bait specifically designed for trophy-sized sea bass. The lure features the ‘MAG BULLET’ weight transfer system, which allows for significant casting distance and stable action by moving a single weight mass. It is designed to operate at depths between the surface and 50cm, utilizing ‘Real Lens Finish’ and an internal hologram sheet to enhance visual appeal.

Daiwa is re-releasing and upgrading its ‘Shoreline Shiner SL’ sinking minnow, a model previously successful for sea trout and salmon fishing. The updated version incorporates the ‘Silent Double Oscillate System Ver. S’, which utilizes ‘SaqSas’ processed shafts to ensure smoother weight movement and faster action response upon retrieval. The lure is available in two sizes, 145mm and 170mm, and is designed to maintain stability during casts even in windy conditions.
