Duelbits crypto casino hit by $7 million hack

Crypto gambling platform Duelbits has taken its website offline following a security breach that resulted in the loss of approximately $7 million. The attack targeted the platform’s hot wallets across multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, BNB Chain, and TRON.

Security firms Scam Sniffer and Peckshield tracked the suspicious outflows, noting that stolen assets—including Ether, Bitcoin, USDT, and BNB—were quickly converted into Ether and DAI stablecoin. Investigators suspect a private-key compromise was the cause of the breach.

A Duelbits co-founder, identified as Joe, confirmed the incident and stated that the platform would remain offline until the investigation is complete and hot wallets are replenished. The company maintained that user funds remain safe. This incident follows a previous security breach in February 2024 where the platform lost approximately $4.6 million.
