Długosiodło hosts XXII Great Mushroom Gathering

The XXII Great Mushroom Gathering took place in the Długosiodło commune on September 13. The event featured various activities, including competitions, demonstrations, mushroom soup tastings, and concerts.

A central part of the gathering was a team competition for mushroom collecting, which resulted in a total harvest of 370 kg. The Rząśnik commune emerged as the winner of the competition.

In addition to the competition, the event served as a platform for ecological discussions. Representatives from the Warsaw Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (WFOŚiGW) provided information on pro-ecological home investments and renewable energy sources. The gathering was attended by several notable figures, including the Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship, Adam Struzik, and the Mayor of Długosiodło, Stanisław Jastrzębski.
