Duško Šibl exhibition opens in Koprivnica and fashion‑poetry show staged at Talisman Gallery
On July 23, 2026, the Gallery of Koprivnica inaugurated a solo exhibition of renowned Croatian academic painter Duško Šibl. Organized by the Koprivnica City Museum and the local Jewish community, the show features works created in 2025‑26 that blend British expressionism with Mediterranean colour. The opening was attended by museum director Ivan Valent, city council president Marko Potroško, and chief Rabbi Luciano Moše Prelević, among others. The exhibition will remain open to the public until August 30.
A separate cultural program took place at the Talisman Gallery, where a fashion‑poetry event combined a runway show of the Serbian‑founded brand LutkART with readings by breast‑cancer survivors and musical accompaniment. Models presented the brand’s alternative, bold designs for women, while poetry was recited in both Croatian and Italian.
Both events highlight the active cultural scene in Croatia, bringing together visual art, fashion, and community‑focused performances.
