Duksung Women's University completes training for Cambodian faculty

The LUPIC Project Group at Duksung Women's University has successfully completed its fifth invitational training program for faculty from the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) in Cambodia. This initiative is part of the Leading University Project for International Cooperation (LUPIC), supported by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.

As the final year of the seven-year project, the training focused on establishing long-term independent operation and Educational Quality Assurance (EQA) systems for RUA’s Department of Food and Nutrition. The three-week program, held at Duksung Women's University, included curriculum design for clinical nutrition, student-centered academic management, and benchmarking advanced medical nutrition systems at institutions such as Catholic University of Korea's Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital.

Discussions also addressed a master plan for Cambodia’s national nutritionist certification system and the establishment of graduate programs. The project aims to ensure the sustainable development of Cambodia’s health and agricultural sectors through continued knowledge transfer and post-project management.
