Dulquer Salmaan seeks Telugu cinema comeback with upcoming projects

Actor Dulquer Salmaan is seeking a commercial comeback in Telugu cinema following the underperformance of his recent films, Kaantha and I’m Game. While his 2024 period crime drama Lucky Baskhar was a major success, crossing the ₹100-crore mark, his subsequent releases have struggled to replicate that momentum.

Salmaan’s upcoming projects include Sri Sri, directed by debutant Ravi Nelakuditi and starring Pooja Hegde. Additionally, director Venky Atluri has expressed interest in a sequel to Lucky Baskhar, though writing for a follow-up may not begin for approximately two years.
