Dulquer Salmaan's I'm Game secures record music deal and censorship

The upcoming Malayalam fantasy-action thriller ‘I’m Game’, starring Dulquer Salmaan, has achieved significant milestones ahead of its September 3 theatrical release. The film has reportedly secured a Rs 12.5 crore music rights deal with Zee Music, setting a new record for Malayalam cinema.

Additionally, the Central Board of Film Certification has granted the film a U/A 16+ certificate. This follows previous speculation regarding potential censorship of imagery and terminology related to the film's gambling themes.

Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, the story follows Dan John, a gambler who utilizes an algorithm-based system to navigate his moves. The film is produced under Salmaan's Wayfarer Films banner and is expected to see a multilingual release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
