Duna Interiors renovates 55-square-meter apartment in Almaty

Designers Natalia Veter and Nurzhan Isagulov, founders of Duna Interiors, have completed a transformative renovation of their 55-square-meter apartment in the historic center of Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Originally in poor condition, the space was redesigned as a manifesto of the studio’s aesthetic philosophy, which posits that design is a tool to shape consciousness and that small living areas can achieve high-level elegance through a calibrated color palette and quality materials. The interior features a bold blue bedroom and a living area styled with custom sofas, handmade Indian rugs, and modern lighting fixtures.
