Dunajská Streda election results show Magyar Szövetség victory
Zoltán Hájos has secured re-election as mayor of Dunajská Streda, receiving 4,259 votes compared to 2,517 for challenger Tomáš Miške. This result provides a clear mandate for the incumbent to continue his term.
The Magyar Szövetség (Hungarian Alliance) demonstrated significant strength in the municipal council elections, winning four mandates in each of the four electoral districts. In the first district, Nagy Krisztián received the highest number of votes, while Tünde Brunczvik secured a seat as an independent candidate.
In the second district, Attila Karaffa led with 1,018 votes. The race for the remaining seats was highly competitive, with László Szabó (779 votes) and Tomáš Miške (778 votes) narrowly securing positions in the council despite Miške's loss in the mayoral race. Other elected representatives include Róbert Viola as an independent and Tünde Kevický and Iván Nagy from the Magyar Szövetség.
