Dunamu honored by Korea Customs Service for digital asset crime investigation support

Dunamu, the operator of the Upbit cryptocurrency exchange, has received a commendation from the Commissioner of the Korea Customs Service. The award recognizes the company's employees for their technical support and cooperation in investigating new types of trade crimes that utilize digital assets.

Specifically, members of Dunamu’s Financial Data Intelligence (FDI) team provided technical assistance and professional consultation to help track illegal foreign exchange transactions and the movement of criminal proceeds. The team also shared crime analysis expertise with customs investigators to strengthen digital investigation capabilities.

In addition to this recognition, Dunamu was previously selected as the final bidder for the National Police Agency’s project to securely store and manage seized digital assets, having received the highest score in technical evaluations.
