Dunamu to host financial literacy event with Seoul Metropolitan Government

Dunamu, the operator of the Upbit cryptocurrency exchange, is partnering with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to host the ‘Up-Class Financial Golden Bell’ event. Scheduled for the 19th at Banpo Hangang Park’s Moonlight Square, the program aims to strengthen the financial literacy of young people through an interactive quiz format.

The quiz covers a wide range of topics, including basic asset management, credit and loan knowledge, digital assets such as Bitcoin and blockchain, and prevention methods for new types of financial fraud like deepfakes and phishing. Participants use their mobile phones to answer questions, and a cumulative scoring system ensures that no one is eliminated mid-way through the event.

Beyond financial education, Dunamu is expanding its ESG initiatives through sports sponsorship. The company supports various disciplines, including professional table tennis, Taekwondo Poomsae, and eSports, specifically serving as an official sponsor for the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) to help broaden the ecosystem for both traditional and digital sports.
