Duncan 11UAA Dodgers win B.C. baseball provincial title

The Duncan 11UAA Dodgers claimed the B.C. Baseball provincial championship after defeating the Oceanside Reds 8-5 in the tournament final held in Cranbrook on August 2.

The Dodgers secured their place in the championship game following an 8-3 semifinal victory over Cloverdale. Oceanside reached the final by defeating North Shore 6-4. Cloverdale earned third place by winning the bronze medal game against North Shore with a score of 9-8.

Head coach Andrew Bell noted that the team succeeded by putting their hard work together at the right time, specifically highlighting their victory over their Vancouver Island rivals in the final.
