Duncan Jones returns to Sitges with animated Rogue Trooper

Director Duncan Jones returns to the Sitges Film Festival with his new animated production, ‘Rogue Trooper’. The film is an adaptation of the 1981 comic series from the British magazine ‘2000 AD’, the same publication that produced ‘Judge Dredd’.

Set on a planet devastated by eternal warfare, the story follows 19 (played by Aneurin Barnard), a genetically engineered infantry soldier. As the sole human survivor of a massacre, he seeks to hunt down a traitor who betrayed his squad. He is accompanied by the digital consciousness of three fallen comrades, implanted as ‘bio-chips’ into his equipment.
