Dune: Awakening gets major mission expansion and performance patch

Funcom has rolled out a substantial update for the survival MMO Dune: Awakening, adding five new Landsraad missions across the Hagga Basin and Smuggler’s Run regions. The new tasks include Convergence, Sample Recovery, Clear the Run, Watching the Run, and Terminal Velocity, along with a fix for visibility issues during the Coriolis event and several gameplay adjustments such as increased container weight and limits on riding high‑speed ornithopters.

In a separate client patch, the studio addressed persistent Pipeline State Object (PSO) stutters that cause brief frame drops. Players are urged to download the latest client version and restart Steam if the update does not appear. The performance improvements are part of broader optimization work that also supports upcoming single‑player features.

Both updates aim to enhance overall stability and player experience in the game.
