Dune: Part Three footage shown before IMAX screenings of The Odyssey

Warner Bros. is previewing approximately four minutes of new footage from Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming film *Dune: Part Three* by attaching it to 70 mm IMAX showings of Christopher Nolan’s *The Odyssey*. The prologue is being screened in the 41 theaters worldwide capable of 70 mm IMAX presentations, giving audiences an exclusive glimpse of a battle sequence featuring Fremen forces and Emperor Paul Atreides.

The preview, which has also been leaked online, opens with Villeneuve thanking Nolan and then depicts a large fleet landing on a rain‑soaked, unfamiliar planet. The scene is described as a “Saving Private Ryan in space” and is intended to drive ticket sales for the film’s worldwide release on Dec. 18. The footage highlights the high‑stakes conclusion of the *Dune* trilogy and features the franchise’s star Timothée Chalamet alongside other returning cast members.
