Dunja Hayali rejects reality TV due to aggressive behavior

German journalist and ZDF presenter Dunja Hayali has expressed her dislike for reality television formats. In a video shared on Instagram, the 52-year-old, known for her political interviews and work on ‘heute-journal’, explained that she finds the genre unappealing due to the aggressive behavior of participants.

Hayali noted that during attempts to watch such shows, she often finds the constant shouting and conflict stressful rather than entertaining. She recalled one instance where she stopped watching after only ten minutes because the participants were ‘so aggressive with each other and just kept shouting’. Instead of reality drama, Hayali stated she prefers spending her free time playing the card game Doppelkopf.
