Educational studies in Aceh highlight impact of digital learning tools

Various educational studies from Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry highlight the impact of diverse teaching methodologies and digital tools on student learning in Aceh, Indonesia.

In Arabic language instruction, the use of interactive PowerPoint media has proven effective in helping students at MAN 4 Aceh Besar understand 'fiil majhul' (passive verbs). Similarly, the application of Duolingo has significantly improved listening skills (Maharah Istima') among students at MTsN 2 Banda Aceh, with average test scores rising from 47.09 to 87.34.

Religious and vocational education also saw technological and practical advancements. At MTsN 2 Aceh Besar, combining lectures with direct practice improved student mastery of obligatory prayer (shalat fardhu), with 92% of students meeting minimum criteria. In career guidance at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh, Augmented Reality (AR) media resulted in high effectiveness for student career understanding compared to conventional methods. Additionally, the use of flashcards has been shown to improve Hadith memorization skills among students at TPQ Babussalam Lam Ujong Aceh Besar.
