Duplexe Tchamba called up to Cameroon national team

Remo defender Duplexe Tchamba has been called up to the Cameroon national team for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The 28-year-old center-back is set to join the squad for upcoming matches against Comoros on September 24 and Congo on September 29.

Tchamba makes history as the first player to be called up to a senior national team while actively playing for Clube do Remo. Since joining the Brazilian club in March from Portugal's Casa Pia, he has become a key figure in the defense, appearing in 21 matches and scoring one goal.

This call-up marks Tchamba's return to the Cameroon senior side after five years; his previous appearances were in 2021 during World Cup qualifiers. While Tchamba prepares for international duty, Remo continues its campaign in the Brazilian Série A.
