Durağan opens new 400-capacity mosque

A new mosque with a capacity of approximately 400 people has been opened for worship in the Durağan district of Sinop. The project was completed through the contributions of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation and private donors.

The opening ceremony included religious recitations and speeches from local officials, including the Sinop Governor, the Durağan District Governor, and the Durağan Mayor. The facility is intended to serve as both a place of worship and a social gathering space for local residents.
