Duralex confirms three bidders for takeover amid receivership
The French glassware manufacturer Duralex, currently in receivership, has confirmed three candidates for its takeover. The bidding process reached its deadline on Friday, September 11.
The confirmed bidders are:
• Cédric Meston, acting through the holding company Tomé. • The Saint-Étienne-based Carlesimo group. • AA Investments, a Hong Kong-based company owned by French businessman Morteza Goshayeshi and his family.
Duralex, which employs 243 people, was placed in receivership on June 1. The company had previously been taken over by its employees as a cooperative in 2024. The Orléans Commercial Court is scheduled to hold a hearing on September 17 to determine the upcoming legal timeline for the proceedings.
